This graphic novel is a visually rich, story-driven exploration of the food justice movement, created in partnership with Food First and The Write Shop. Based on real interviews and conversations with farmers, organizers, and community leaders, the book brings together personal narratives, ancestral knowledge, and bold illustrations to shed light on the people working every day to build a fairer and more sustainable food system.

From small urban gardens to rural family farms, the stories featured in this book highlight the resiliency, creativity, and resistance of those who are often left out of mainstream conversations about agriculture and the environment. Readers will learn about traditional farming techniques, community-driven solutions to hunger, and the ways people are reclaiming land, culture, and dignity through food.

At its heart, this graphic novel is a celebration of resilience and imagination. It is an invitation to listen deeply, think critically, and join the movement for food justice in your own way.
