Across the world, farmers and food justice advocates are pushing back against broken food systems and building new paths rooted in dignity, sovereignty, and resilience.

Last year, Food First launched The WriteShop Project to gather these powerful stories — from farmers practicing regenerative agriculture to organizers fighting for food sovereignty in the Global South and the U.S.

In this animated preview, you’ll hear the voices of Edwin Baffour, Sree Devi, Mlesh Mlegwah, Rajesh Krishnan, and Fredrick Onyango as they share glimpses of their struggles, hopes, and visions for a just food future.
